Peaches are in season, and I received a huge box of them. Grilling Peaches is a perfect way to use the peach as a dessert, yet also requires minimal effort. I served them after a grilled rib dinner, and they were perfectly light and fresh after a filling meal. I already had the grill going so there wasn’t a need to turn on the oven on such a hot day!
For this recipe, I simply melted butter with honey and salt. I brushed both sides of the peach and placed it on a very hot grill without moving it for about 3 minutes. That really is it! The hardest part is pitting the peach. Serve with a portion of whipped cream and Voilà!
10 Whole peaches
1/2 Cup Melted butter
1/4 Cup of Local Honey
1/2 tsp. Salt.
Melt Butter, Honey and salt in a small saucepan. Brush both sides of the peach before placing on the grill for about 3 minutes. I added some blueberries to my plate, but any contrast will work really well.
Who doesn’t love a good peach?
